Hello! It's good to have you here. Thank you so much for your interest. It means so much to me.

Innermost I'm driven by two passions. The first one is photography and it's probably the main reason why you are here. The second one is writing and by using words and common phrases to explain and question what I see and how I see it. In contrast to photography using language is much more about using a system, a language system, something that is abstract and constructed. It's a system to express your ideas, connect with others and to better understand each other. For many using words is their first and natural way to express themselves. For me it's always been something that comes second and after the need to create images or visuals to show others what goes on right inside of me.

So this website also tries to be an interpreter. It tries to use common words in order to explain what others already might have seen visually in my photos. So it's maybe like a translation for non visual thinkers, for extroverts, for people who more naturally gravitate towards abstract expressions, words and sentences to make sense of the world around them. So this blog is not just about photography, it is photography in itself. Photography by non photographic means.
